Butt seam welding for large format sheets for welding dumper truck buckets and trailer floors
Machine
- DALEX butt seam welding unit in portal construction
- Portal construction with upper and lower traverse for guiding skids with roll heads that can be lowered via precision guides
- Machine frame arranged in warp resistant welded construction at both head ends of the portal traverses
- Supporting table in weld and screwed construction, equipped on both sides with height adjustable magnetic plates
- Roll heads top and bottom, in special model with ball and roller bearing and a silver sliding contact in a Molycote bath to transfer the current
- 2 foil feed units for contact foil widths of 4 mm and a foil thickness of between 0.2 and 0.5 mm
